Book Excerpt
Is a dog a god?
“What are ananyms?” she asks.
And I answer, “I moor the boat and notice there is a room for a trap that is a part of a plot to raise the level of the playing field to a higher level. As I look around I ask myself, do I live to be evil? To peek and keep what I saw, which was the tool found with the loot?
“I can’t answer and walk out to the dock holding a bat and then proceed to the bar to open a tab and suddenly find myself in the middle of a gab (about a neve that’s even) with an empty wallet in my bag. I cannot buy a drink and a lot of time is wasted, and to emit a sound of laughter is impossible when the scene goes against my expectations, to the point that there is no where else to go. And I step away only to stumble upon pets sleeping in a basket. Some wanted to revel upon my stumble, assuming a face-plant fall in the works, but thanks to my bat which I use as a lever I manage to maintain my balance. I stomp back to the boat and want to sail away, yet the boat weighs a ton and it is not because of all the gas in the tanks or the sails that sag.
